I have a hump on my nose I would like to have removed. Is this done by filing down the hump or by breaking the bones and can it be done through closed rhinoplasty? Nasal humps can be treated in a number or ways, with either rasping or filing down and even filing them down and cutting some of the bones. This all depends on the patient. The patient needs to be examined prior to any treatment protocol. You need to go to somebody experienced for this, who does open or closed or both types of rhinoplasty. Thank you.
